REVIEW APA SAIGON APARTMENT HO CHI MINH VIETNAM

Review Apa Saigon Apartment - Hi, welcome back to my blog. I will share my experience staying in Apa Saigon Apartment in Ho Chi Minh. At First, of course, I didn't have any expectations because this was just a backpacking trip, and this accommodation was affordable. I got this accommodation for around VND 890000 / 2 nights. So it's around USD 18 / night for a private double bedroom.

GOOD LOCATION

Talking about location, Apa Saigon is located in District 1. As you know, District 1 is a good location to stay in Ho Chi Minh City, especially for a traveller, because all the things that you'll visit are mostly located in this district 1.

This place is located just near Tan Dinh Market. From the airport, I took a public bus (number 152), which only cost me VND 5000, and from the closest stop, I just walk for 10 mins. What I like about this place is that you can easily find many good local restaurants and this accommodation is in the market area, so it's easy to buy local fruits just by 1 min walk.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

As I told early, I didn't expect this price as it's also included breakfast for us. This building is also a resident, and our room was on the 4th floor. What annoyed me on that day was actually the local police, I would say, or something with the government security. They were just so weird knocking on our door at 9 pm and not really what they wanted, as we already showed and let the receptionist took a picture of our passport/visa. Yeah, I can't blame the accommodation.

By the way, the room is not small. They have an eating table, refrigerator, kitchen set, and wardrobe, It's pretty good to be honest, but however the cleaness is the issue. I don't think the owner cleaned it properly because I can see a thick dust in the fan and some other area. But besides that, I really enjoy it.

PUBLIC SPACE

For public space, this accommodation has a parking lot in the basement and also a laundry room in the basement for free. You can also refill your bottle in their kitchen; the breakfast is open from 8-10 am, I enjoyed the breakfast, usually noodles and fruits.
