6 Must Visit Places in Labuan Bajo, Komodo National Park Flores

Hi guys welcome back to my journal! Last month I had a chance to explore one of the beautiful place in Indonesia, Labuan Bajo! Labuan Bajo is the port to explore Komodo National Park. Yes! to see the beautiful creature KOMODO

I'll not share the detail budget because the trip sponsored by my college. But, usually the sailing trip is cost start from $200 for 4 days 3nights.

From Bali to Labuan Bajo, there's a direct flight that cost about $50 for one way and it takes about an hour.

For your information, there's no WIFI at the airport and please make sure that you have TELKOMSEL or XL for your SIM Card Provider

On this trip, we lived in a big boat for 2days and 1 night. Here's the must visit place while you explore Labuan Bajo!

1. Rinca Island

Rinca Island is one of the island in Komodo National Park. The island is famous for Komodo ( a giant lizard that you can just found it here) . There are about 2500 Komodos in this island wow. You  can also choose for long, medium, for short trek. Girls, If you're a woman on period please tell the guide (ranger), the komodo will be very aggressive if they smell the blood. this is not a joke

2. Kalong Island (Bat Island)

Kalong Island is the mangrove forest area, you are suggested to come when this is almost dark because at the day, the bats will sleep or just hanging on the tree. When it comes to the dark, over millions bats will fly through the sky! what a view

3. Padar Island

To reach on the top, you must go hiking for about 30 minutes. You will see a beautiful landscape of the small islands. This place is also the best spot for diving but only for professional diver because it can be dangerous.

4. Loh Liang (Komodo Island)

Loh Liang is little bit similar with rinca island, you can to trekking to find the Komodo. But in this island, you can find many Komodo nest and you can find the local people who lives with the Komodo. Komodo is like pet for them

5. Pink Beach

There are several pink beach in Komodo National Park. What make this beach unique is it has pink sand, clear water. This is the favorite spot to snorkeling in Komodo National Park

6. Batu Cermin Cave

Batu Cermin cave is a cave that have a beautiful light though the cave if you're lucky enough and in the timing, you can see it  a spectacular show of reflected sunlight. This fascinating effect is caused by some slick, mirror-like rock surfaces that reflect the light. Hence the cave’s name, Batu Cermin, which means ‘mirror rock’ in Indonesian. If you want to experience this visual delight in all its beauty, make sure to be there at the right time: depending on the time of year, the sunrays only hit the hole between 9 and 10am.
